This creates two self-extracting executables (SP21460.EXE for Version 10/17/01 and SP21613.EXE for version 04/13/02) for the Evo models listed below with a 686DF Family ROM. The CPQFlash utility is used to locally flash the System ROM on PCs through a Windows environment.The ROM Family and ROM date can be determined by running the Setup Utility by pressing F10 on the target computer during system power on of the computer, and viewingFile/System Information. IMPORTANT: Users with BIOS version 10/13/01 or earlier ROM must upgrade their System ROM to version 10/17/01 before upgrading to version 04/13/02. PREREQUISITES: N/A HOW TO USE: 1. Download the SoftPaq to a temporary, empty directory on your hard drive. The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above. 2. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file SP21460.EXE and follow the on-screen instructions. 3. After the system has been shutdown, you may delete all temporary files and the SoftPaq file downloaded in step 1. 4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for SP21613.EXE to upgrade the BIOS to version 04/13/02.
