DESCRIPTION:
The Intel PRO/100 Management Software supports the Intel Pro/VM Network
Connection, the Intel Pro/100 S Desktop Adapter, Intel 82559 Fast Ethernet
LOM, and the Intel Pro/100+ Managment Adapters. This release of the software
has support for Microsoft Windows NT. This driver is PC99 Compliant and
supports Compaq System Software Manager (SSM) and Insight Manager LC. It also
supports Alert On LAN Technology (excluding the Intel Pro/VE product), when
the prerequisites listed below are present.

  Alert On LAN capability requires Intel's Alert On LAN Software Utilities and 
  Management Console Application Software like HP OpenView or Intel LanDesk 
  Client Manager (not provided by Compaq).

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive.
The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename
based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.

NOTE: This driver set is an INF based installation.
      Autoupdate of the driver will not occur unless you execute the Softpaq within
      an SSM compliant environment. See the INDEX.HTM after unpacking the Softpaq files
      for more details on manual driver and diagnostics installation.
