Standard Installation

   To install the drivers:

   1. Download and run the Softpaq.  The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable
      with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.  Follow the onscreen instructions
      to begin
      the driver install.  The Client Manager can be installed optionally. 
   2. Shutdown your computer and install WL210 Wireless PCI Card.
   3. Start your computer.  Your computer will automatically detect the new hardware and install
      the drivers. Follow the on-screen instructions.
   4. After a few seconds, Windows XP shows a message that a wireless
      network is available. Click on the network icon for the wireless adapter
      in the system tray.
   5. In the Connect to Wireless Network dialog box, select your wireless network from
      the list. If your network is not in the list, click on Advanced, click on Add and 
      enter the SSID and necessary encryption settings for your network. For appropriate
      settings and further assistance, please consult your network administrator.

   Upgrading previous installation

    If you have previously installed a version of the WL210 drivers, you are 
    required to do a driver update:

   1. With the WL210 inserted, download and run the softpaq.
   2. Click the Start button.
   3. Click on "Control Panel".
   4. Double click on "System".
   5. Click on the Hardware Tab.
   6. Click on the Device Manager Button.
   7. Double click on the Network Adapter section.  (If the WL210 Wireless Adapter is not 
      listed, it may be under Unknown Devices).
   8. Right click on the WL210 device.
   9. Select "Update Driver" from the pop-up list.
  10. Request for Windows to perform a search for the driver.
  11. Follow the onscreen instructions to upgrade to the new driver.
