Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive.The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above. 2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to install the firmware update utility. 3. Open a web browser. 4. Type cp.home into the Address field and press Enter. You may also type in the base address, which is 192.168.1.1. The Language Selection screen is displayed. 5. Select the language you wish to use. If English is selected the country screen appears. Note: If selecting a language other than English, when the Language Update screen appears, click Browse. The language files are located in C:\SP21202\Language_Packs. Select the appropriate file and Click Add. Then, click OK. 6. On the Country Screen, select the country in which Connection Point will be used. Click Next. 7. On the Warning Screen, click OK if you have selected the correct country. If you have selected the country incorrectly, click Cancel and choose your country again. 8. Click Next, then OK. Connection Point will automatically attempt to connect to the Internet. If connection is established, proceed to SSID section. If connection is not established, if you are unsure of which method to use, click I’m not sure on the Connection Method screen.
