DESCRIPTION:  This SoftPaq creates the Compaq 64-Bit/66Mhz Wide Ultra3 Controller Driver, adpu160m.sys for Windows 2000.
        
The release of this Compaq 64-Bit/66Mhz Wide Ultra3 Controller Driver for Windows 2000 fixes 3 issues:
1. A blue screen "STOP 0xD1 DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" Bugcheck issue.
2. SCSI Timeout error Event ID 9 appears on System Event log.
3. Stop I/O issue.

The above issues may occur on systems using the Compaq Adaptec based 64-bit/66-Mhz Wide Ultra3 SCSI Controllers to connect to any Tape systems running Windows 2000 Advanced Server or Windows 2000 Data Center running with the Compaq 64-Bit/66Mhz Wide Ultra3 Controller Driver, adpu160m.sys, version 6.1.520.202 (CSP5.14a) or earlier for Windows 2000.



HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive. The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. After the softpaq files have been expanded, you may delete the downloaded softpaq file (SP19777.EXE).

3. From that drive and directory, run "CPQSETUP.EXE".
  
4. Check the version of the updated adpu160m.sys driver to be 6.1.540.100 after the installation. 

5. Reboot the system to take effect.
