HOW TO USE: 1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory. The file that is downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above. 2. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to unpack the files. 3. After the files have been created, you may delete the self-extracting file downloaded in step 1. 4. To install the patch, run INSTALL. (UNINST.BAT is provided to uninstall this patch.) 5. After a successful installation, you may delete the files unpacked in step 2 if you wish. NOTE: With Compaq Insight Manager 7 version 3.0, a manual step may be required to repair problems with the SSL keystore. If the keystore problem is not automatically repaired by running INSTALL above, refer to the KSFIX.BAT batch file that was extracted to your Compaq Insight Manager 7 installation directory. To view options provided by this batch file, execute the command KSFIX with no parameters from a command prompt in the installation directory. You must stop the Compaq Insight Manager 7 service prior to repairing the SSL keystore using the KSFIX.BAT batch file, and restart it after repairs are complete.
