ENHANCEMENTS/FIXES Fixed - ProLiant ML350-G2 Hang up in inspect at "Retrieving System Port Information". Fixed - Device list now shows hard drives on the Intergrated Smart Array when the ROC chip is removed (Dumb Roc / SCSI) past the 10th drive posisition. Fixed - Diagnostics Versions 10.35b to 10.37B did not recognize all the SCSI ID's on 32xx, 42xx and 43xx controllers. The number of id's saved was limited to 7; drive 8 overwrote drive 1 information, 9 overwrote 2, etc. Fixed - Inspect now shows all hard drives if slots were skipped. On systems using 32xx, 42xx, and 43xx controllers. Fixed - Long Load times with SCSI2.TM took 5 minutes to load and 5 minutes to id in diags when it should only take about 30 seconds. Fixed - Long load time in Inspect while loading SCSI2 were removed. NOTES: The ProLiant ML330 ATA Raid controller is only supported in the Raid 0 mode. (How it is shipped.) If you have a Raid 1 or 0+1 you will see failures on the seek test. The seek test will fail because it tries to access the backup drives directly and the system is hiding those drives. This is a known issue and does not indicate that your drive is not working properly. There is a customer advisory being drafted currently with more information. Version S10.38A Will remove the seek test from these configurations. HOW TO USE: 1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive. The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number. 2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. Pressing "Space Bar" to confirm the unpacking of files creates a new directory folder in the download directory. The diskette image file, the image extraction tool, and the batch file to create the diskette are unpacked into this newly created directory. 3. After the Diagnostic diskette has been created, you may delete the self-extracting file downloaded in step one, as well as the directory folder and files created in step two. 4. Go to the system that you want to run Server Diagnostics on and power down the system. 5. Place the newly created Diagnostics diskette in Drive A:, and power up the system. 6. The system should then boot to Compaq Server Diagnostics. Copyright 2001, Compaq Computer Corporation. All rights reserved.
