DESCRIPTION: This Softpaq contains the Microsoft WHQL Windows 98 driver for the 
USB (Universal Serial Bus) Floppy Drive used with the Compaq products listed above.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive. The file downloaded 
is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number 
above. 

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. 

3. After the files have been unpacked, you may delete the self-extracting file 
downloaded in step 1. 


Installing the Windows 98 USB Diskette Driver. 

4. Plug in the USB Floppy Drive.

5. If the wizard starts, cancel the wizard before proceeding to the next step.

6. Run the SETUP.EXE file from the directory where the Softpaq was downloaded.

7. When prompted, restart the computer.
