HOW TO USE: 1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive. The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above. 2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. Press "Spacebar" to confirm the unpacking of files into the download directory. 3. After the files have been unpacked, you may delete the self-extracting file downloaded in step 1. 4. The application may be installed directly from the files on the download directory or a set of two diskettes can be created. To create a set of diskettes, run MAKEDISK.BAT. To install, run SETUPUDM.EXE. For example select Start, Run, then enter: \setupudm where is the drive and directory from step 2 or a diskette drive 5. The Universal Driver Manager detects the current display adapter and checks to see if it is a supported graphics controller. If the currently active graphics controller in the system is not a supported controller (see above list), an error message is displayed. 6. If a supported controller is found, a message is displayed showing which one was found. Select OK to start installing the driver. Follow the on-screen instructions and reboot the system to activate the new driver. 7. After the driver has been installed, you may delete the files from the download directory if you wish.
