ENHANCEMENTS/FIXES: Affecting both Armada 100s and Notebook 100 -- - Allows an external wheel mouse to be used on the PS2 port while the Touchpad can also still be used. - Resolves an issue with wheel mice where an intermittent lockup could occur if the user switched back and forth frequently from using the internal Touchpad and an external wheel mouse. Affecting Armada 100s only -- - Resolves an issue where the notebook could lock up and get hot around the CPU fan cover. Affecting Notebook 100 only -- - Resolves an issue with batteries being overcharged. HOW TO USE: NOTE: You will need a blank, formatted diskette in drive A. 1. Download the SoftPaq to a temporary, empty directory on your hard drive. The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above. 2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. Enter "Y" to confirm the unpacking of files into the download directory. 3. After the files are unpacked, the program that creates the bootable diskette runs automatically. 4. After the diskette has been created, you may delete the download directory if you wish. 5. To install the Keyboard BIOS upgrade, plug in AC power and boot the notebook from the bootable DOS diskette. Follow the screen prompts to install the upgrade.
