Enhancements/Fixes: - Fixed Application Launch tasks to always send 'PATH', 'Windir' and 'SystemRoot' system environment variables. - Fixed a problem with Compaq Insight Manager XE CPU utilization climbing to 90% or higher and the SNMP Status Polling task hanging, after polling a Redhat Linux 6.1 (or earlier) system with Linux SNMP Master Agents 6.1 (or earlier). - Fixed the display of rising/falling threshold traps from Linux, NetWare, OpenVMS, and Tru64 Unix machines. - Fixed sporadic SNMP status polling problems for IPX devices. - Fixed a Version Control problem with not always discovering components installed as part of the Compaq Support Paq. This included 'Compaq Support Paq for Microsoft Windows 2000', 'Compaq Server Support (SSD) for Microsoft Windows NT 4.0', 'Compaq Support Paq for Microsoft Windows NT 4.0'. - Added OCCURRED AT time to the Discovered Device Event information. When a device changes status, and an email or paging task is tied to a Device Query, the time the device changes status (i.e. going Critical) will now be sent as part of the email or page. - Modified the service so that it can be stopped if it is no longer responding to HTTP requests. - Modified the Data Collection task to write historical data into the single-instance database tables also. - Added a client-side performance enhancement. - Reordered the info in a paging message to place the task name last. HOW TO USE: 1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory. The file that is downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above. 2. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to unpack the files. 3. After the files have been created, you may delete the self-extracting file downloaded in step 1. 4. To install the patch, run INSTALL. (UNINST.BAT is provided to uninstall this patch.) 5.
