DESCRIPTION:  This SoftPaq creates a bootable diskette for upgrading the 
Pioneer 113R DVD Drive firmware in a Presario 5696 computer.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq into an empty directory on the hard drive.
The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename
based on the SoftPaq Number above.  

2. Run SP15568.EXE and follow the directions on the screen to create a bootable 
diskette.

3. Once the diskette is created, leave it in Drive A and restart the computer,
allowing it to boot from the diskette. 

4. At the A:> prompt, type UP201 and press the Enter key.

5. Follow the instructions on the screen to udpate the firmware. 

6. IMPORTANT: Do not turn off power or interrupt the update process.

7. When the update is complete and the A:> prompt returns, remove the diskette 
from drive A and restart the system.
