There are two available methods for building a rack suite configuration which are: "Builder Mode", which enables adding and removing components with the Drag-and-Drop interface feature, and "Assisted Mode", which features a guided interview process to determine the optimum distribution of rack mountable components. There are a variety of reports available which will allow you to print or view the rack solution. Enhancements/Fixes: Product Updates Rack graphics are now saved along with reports to allow the reports to be viewed on systems on which Rack Builder Pro is not installed. Multiple instances of a component may be renamed from the Specifications tab in Builder Mode. Users may add up to 4 PDU's per rack in Visual Rack Builder after exiting Assisted Mode. HOW TO USE: 1. Create a new directory on your unit where you want to download the softpaq executable file. 2. Select "Current Version" of Rack Builder PRO (Version 2.7) and select the appropriate language version (SP143xx.exe). 3. Click the "Download" button; choose to Save the Program to Disk. Then browse to the newly created directory and select "Save". 4. Go to the created directory and execute the downloaded softpaq executable. The following two files will created: SETUPxxx.EXE SP143xx.txt 5. There are three ways to run setup***.exe, which will install the program: a) From the Start/Run option type the path of where the executable was copied to. (Ex.: c:\PRO\setupxxx.exe). b) From Windows Explorer go to the created directory and run the executable. c) Go to a DOS prompt, change to the created directory, and run the executable, i.e., (c:\PRO\setupxxx.exe). 6.
