DESCRIPTION: For RedHat 6.1, this update of the cpqarray driver adds installation support 
	     to the Smart Array 431 and the RAID LC2.
	     For RedHat 6.2, this update of the cpqarray driver adds installation support 
	     to the RAID LC2.

HOW TO USE:
        1. After downloading the SoftPaq, copy it to an empty directory and
           change to that directory.
 
        2. From that drive and directory, unzip the softpaq file:
                  gunzip SP14320.tar.gz

           The following files should be created in a subdirectory of SP14320:
           rh61_dd.img
	   rh62_dd.img
	   readme.txt

        3. Create floppy(ies)
	   For RedHat 6.1
		Insert a floppy diskette into floppy drive and execute the following command:
		dd if=rh61_dd.img of=/dev/fd0 bs=1440k

	   For RedHat 6.2
		Insert a floppy diskette into floppy drive and execute the following command:
		dd if=rh62_dd.img of=/dev/fd0 bs=1440k

        4. Start the install process and select expert install at the boot prompt of Redhat 6.1
           or RedHat 6.2.
                
        5. Insert the module diskette created in step 3 into the floppy drive when the installation
           prompts for it.

	6. Select "Add SCSI"

	7. Select "Updated Smart2 Array Driver" from the list.

	8. Continue installation.
