It is installed on the Diagnostics Partition for those systems which support it and have hard drives. It is shipped as a diskette on all other products. A Compaq Server Diagnostics diskette contains programs that can perform the following tasks on Compaq Systems Division server products: - TEST - INSPECT (display machine config) Enhancements/fixes: - Added support for 933 MHz processor upgrades to ProLiant ML350, ML370, ML530, and DL380. - Added support for processor upgrades to ProLiant DL360, ML330. - Added support for new 40X CD-ROM drives. - Added ECC fault isolation support on ProLiant ML330, ML350, ML570, DL360, DL380. - Added support for 4GB of memory on ProLiant ML570, DL360, DL380, and DL580. - Added processor upgrade verification for ProLiant 8000 and 8500. - Fixed false failures during processor testing on ProLiant 8000 and 8500 units with multiple processors running in non-APIC mode. HOW TO USE: 1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive. The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above. 2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. Entering "Y" to confirm the unpacking of files creates a new directory folder in the download directory. All files are unpacked into this newly created directory. 3. To create the Diagnostics diskette, run MAKEDISK.BAT and follow on-screen instructions. 4. After the Diagnostic diskette has been created, you may delete the self-extracting file downloaded in step 1, as well as the directory folder and files created in step 2. 5. Power down the system. 6.
