This results in detailed processor information listed in Survey and Compaq Insight Manager output, including processor core speed, bus speed, cache configuration, etc. Affects all operating systems. F01 ProLiant 400 / Prosignia 720 Server Feature Board Option ROM (11/09/1999) =============================================== Check and display fan failures during POST. Enhancement ensures critical cooling fan is operational before loading an operating system. Affects no operating system. Problems Fixed - D01 ProLiant 400 / Prosignia 720 system ROM (11/09/1999) ========================================================= Corrects problem during the ROMPAQ update whereby the video text was overwritten by subsequent text messages. This is a cosmetic issue. Affects no operating systems. Fixes a system ROM compatibility problem with video adapter option ROM size. Allows video adapters with option ROMs as large as 64K to load. This fixes a problem that prevented system operation when certain VGA and AGP adapters are present. Affects no operating system. Eliminates system support for Windows 2000 "stand-by". Selecting Start/Shut Down/Stand-by from the Windows 2000 start-bar results in a dialogue box indicating that the system can not perform the operation due to an issue with the ATI video driver when an older System ROM is used. A change to the Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) ROM section prevents the OS from offering the "stand-by" option, eliminating the problem. This also allows the platform to meet Windows 2000 basic server certification guidelines. Affects only Windows 2000 installations. Known Problems - None. HOW TO USE: 1.
