DESCRIPTION:  Unpacks files that support many more Smart Cards for 
the Compaq Aero 8000 handheld computer.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a temporary, empty directory on your 
hard drive.  The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable 
with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. 
Enter "Y" to confirm the unpacking of files into the download directory. 

3. After the files have been unpacked, you may delete the self-extracting file 
downloaded in step 1.

4. Ensure that a connection is established between the Aero 8000 and the
desktop.

5. Run the extracted file AEROPAQ.EXE to automatically transfer all 
necessary files to the Aero 8000 and make any changes necessary to the 
device.

6. After the installation is completed, you may delete the files unpacked in 
step 2.  

7. You will also need to perform a warm reset on the Aero 8000.  To perform a 
warm reset, close the LCD, turn the system over, and gently push in the button 
using the tip of a pencil or pen.
