This SoftPaq can be used to create a patch diskette that corrects the Setup for Windows NT 4.0 on an Armada M300. NOTE: It is also possible to use the FAT16 file system without converting to the NTFS file system. HOW TO USE: 1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive. The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above. 2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. Entering "Y" to confirm the unpacking of files creates a new directory folder in the download directory. All files are unpacked into this newly created directory. 3. To create a bootable patch diskette, run MAKEDISK.BAT and follow on-screen instructions. 4. After the bootable patch diskette has been created, you may delete the self-extracting file downloaded in step 1, as well as the directory folder and files created in step 2. 5. Restore the Armada M300 to its pre-install hard drive image by using the QuickRestore CD, then shutdown the computer. 6. Place the newly created bootable patch diskette in Drive A:, and power up the computer, allowing the computer to boot from the diskettte. 7. To install the patch, follow the prompts.
