This Softpaq is 49 MB in size because it contains the audio drivers for Windows 95, Windows 98, and Windows NT 4.0, along with support for 23 languages. The setup automatically detects the operating system and the language that you are running. This driver is also on the Compaq Restore CD that comes with each Workstation. This release of the drivers does not support Compaq System Software Manager (SSM). ENHANCEMENTS/FIXES: - Adds support for the SoundBlaster AudioPCI 128 Card featuring PremierSound. HOW TO USE: 1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive. The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above. 2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. 3. After the files have been unpacked, you may delete the self-extracting file downloaded in step 1. 4. To install, execute the SETUP.EXE program. The SETUP.EXE in root will detect the operating system and language that you are running on the system. Then SETUP program has determined this it will install the appropriate drivers. 5. After the installation is completed, you may delete the directory created in step 2 if you wish.
