This Softpaq is used for local flashing via a floppy drive. New features - 1.DVD-ROM support in Virtual media. 2.Support Nested Groups for Schema-free directory Integration. This feature enhances the schema-less directory integration. You can create Nested groups or hierarchy of groups in Active directory server.User will obtain the combined permissions assigned to group of which he is a direct member and also of the groups which are parent of this group and are mapped to one of the groups in iLO. 3.Support for select license. HP introduces Integrated Lights-Out Select providing Lights-Out management upgrades for selected ProLiant server environments.iLO Select provides an easy upgrade to all Lights-Out functionality except Graphical remote console and Terminal services on iLO Standard enabled servers. It also provides a cost-effective upgrade to advanced Lights-Out functionality on ProLiant 300 and 500 Series servers that are managed using iLO Standard text based remote consoles. This is typically useful for Linux Environment. 4.Support for Remote Console Computer Lock. Remote Console Computer Lock enhances the security of an iLO managed server by automatically locking an operating system or logging out a user on the server "by using a configurable Key Sequence" when a remote console session terminates or the network link to iLO is lost. 5.Support for remote Windows kernel debugger. Remote Windows kernel debugger enables the debugging of windows based systems remotely using the Virtual serial port of iLO.WiLODbg.exe utility (can be downloaded from www.hp.com/server/lights-out) can be used to connect to windows kernel debugger through the Virtual serial port of iLO.This connection bypasses the decoding of bytes by the iLO firmware to increase the performance of debugging session and also eliminates need for physical serial cable connection to a second machine. Problems fixed since last release - Fixed an issue wherein the Directory authentication fails with 2-factor authentication SAN setting due to incorrect parsing of UPN. Fixed an issue wherein the iLO does not issue a trap alert when the server soft reboots. Fixed an issue wherein the iLO displays "Invalid Rack Topology" when ICMB address of Blade P-class enclosure/management module has a leading zero. Fixed an issue wherein command results in two boots to virtual floppy instead of one. Fixed an issue wherein POST Diagnostic results on iLO are not updated after the third reboot. Fixed an issue wherein the telnet sequence numbers were predictable while using a Remote Console java applet. Documentation - HP Integrated Lights-Out 1.91 User Guide and HP Integrated Lights-Out Management Processor Scripting and Command Line Resource Guide available can be found by following the link at: http://h18013.www1.hp.com/products/servers/management/ilo/documentation.html New iLO 1.75/1.80 XML and CLP commands are detailed in the HP Integrated Lights-Out Management Processor Scripting and Command Line Resource Guide Addendum available at: http://h18013.www1.hp.com/products/servers/management/ilo/documentation.html HOW TO USE: 1. Obtain two formatted 1.44 MB diskettes. 2. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory. The file that is downloaded is SP35629.EXE. 3. From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file: SP35629 [ENTER] You will be prompted to place each formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a diskette drive to create the diskettes. Be sure and note the first and second diskettes. 4. After the diskettes are created, you may delete the downloaded file SP35629.EXE if you wish. 5. Insert the first diskette in drive A: and cold boot the system. The system will prompt you when the second diskette should be inserted. Copyright 2007 Hewlett-Packard Development Company, L.P.
