This file contains important last-minute information and/or changes.

-AGENT SOFTWARE:
This release of DEChsz70 RAID Manager Software does NOT include an Agent
or GUI (client).  All configuration and monitoring must be done with the
CLI through a serial port.  

You should still install DEChsz70, however.  This package will search for 
supported SCSI adapters and update the /kernel/drv/sd.conf file accordingly.  

If you are an experienced system administrator, it is possible to skip the
DEChsz70 installation, and modify /kernel/drv/sd.conf manually.  Do NOT use
the scsi class for the RA7000 however, you must explicitly define it's parent.
See the man pages (driver.conf(4), scsi(4)) for more information. 

-AGENT COMPATIBILITY:
Do not attempt to monitor and/or configure your RA7000/ESA10000 subsystem with
earlier versions of the CC Agent (below ver. 2.0).  This will not work properly,
and it is not supported.

-REQUIRED PATCHES:
Do NOT forget the required patches.  Solaris will not negotiate at Ultra SCSI
speeds without the patches loaded (using the Sun X1065A UWD adapter).  Check
your documentation for the required patches.

-COMMAND CONSOLE LUN:
You will get an error, "corrupt label - bad magic number", when booting if the
command console lun is enabled on your HSZ70 controller.  This is just a 
warning, and it can be ignored.  If you want to get rid of this warning 
message, you must disable the CCL, it cannot be labeled.  Refer to the 
documentation for more information.

-GENERAL INFORMATION:
This distribution contains the complete documentation set in both postscript
(.ps) and Adobe Portable Document Format (.pdf) format.  These files are 
located in the docs subdirectory of the distribution CD-ROM.  

You will also find version 3.0 of the Adobe Acrobat reader in the acroread
subdirectory on the distribution CD-ROM.  There are two versions:

	acroread_solaris_30.tar - For Solaris 2.x
	ar32e30.exe - 32-bit windows version for Windows 95 and Windows NT

	You can find Adobe Acrobat Reader in other languages and for
	other platforms by visting their web site at:
