The file name for the package is hpnicfwupg-.rpm. Installing the RPM Package ============================= 1. Check for the existence of a previous version of the hpnicfwupg package using the following command: # rpm -q hpnicfwupg If an old version of the package exists, it should be removed using the following command: # rpm -e hpnicfwupg 2. Install the RPM package. # rpm -ivh hpnicfwupg-.rpm Performing the Firmware Upgrade ============================ 1. The firmware can be upgraded interactively using the following command: # /usr/sbin/hpnicfwupg 2. Before the upgrade is attempted, a copy of the firmware image is saved.
