INTRODUCTION This file contains information regarding use of the HP ProLiant Support Pack for Microsoft Windows Server 2003. The following information is provided: Support Pack Installation Component Usage Log File Usage 2. SUPPORT PACK INSTALLATION The primary method for installing the Support Pack is to run the SETUP.EXE program included with the Support Pack. By default, all software is selected for installation. In most circumstances, this default selection should not be altered, and installation is as simple as pressing the "Install" button. Even when selected, only software that is appropriate for the system it is being run on will actually be installed. Press the "Install" button to proceed with the installation. After installation of the appropriate software the utility will display any installation failures. For more information on the usage of SETUP.EXE, refer to the white paper or access the help system while running SETUP.EXE. A BP000233.CMD file is also provided with the Support Pack for use in installing the Support Pack from a command prompt without user interaction. As with the SETUP.EXE program, all software appropriate for the system it is being run on will be installed. The HP ProLiant Support Pack for Microsoft Windows Server 2003 contains numerous files. All files must be present in the same directory as the SETUP.EXE program in order for the Support Pack to be installed properly. A console version of the setup application (SETUPC.EXE) is also provided as a way to script installations of the Support Pack or components. For more information on its usage, refer to the help available by running setupc.exe /?. 3. COMPONENT USAGE In addition to the SETUP.EXE program mentioned above, the Support Pack contains individual .EXE files corresponding to the various components that make up the Support Pack. If necessary, these components can be installed individually or their contents extracted to a floppy diskette for use during OS installation. To install an individual component just run the appropriate CPxxxxx.EXE file and chose the "Install" button. To extract the contents of a component to diskette run the appropriate CPxxxxx.EXE file, then chose the "Extract" button instead of the "Install" button. 3.1 COMPONENT CONFIGURATION Component files now offer optional support configuration before they are installed. The optional support configuration allows component-specific settings to be written into the .EXE file for availability during installation. Configuration is performed using the functionality provided by SETUP.EXE. When SETUP.EXE is launched, you will be able to all of the components that support or require configuration in the tree view of the main window. To configure a component, right-click on an item and select "Configure..." from the context-menu. For more information, consult the HP ProLiant Support Pack (PSP) and Deployment Utilities User Guide. NOTE: Component Configuration requires that the Smart Components must be in a write-accessible location. A CD or read-only network share is not supported. If you have obtained this Support Pack on the Smart Start CD, copy the entire contents of the Support Pack directory to the local hard drive or a network share and make sure the read-only attributes have been cleared from all of the files. cp005171.exe HP System Management Homepage for Windows cp005178.exe HP ProLiant iLO Advanced and Enhanced System Management Controller Driver for Windows 2000/Server 2003 cp005013.exe HP ProLiant Advanced System Management Controller Driver for Windows 2000/Server 2003 cp004203.exe HP ProLiant Hot Plug Memory Configuration Utility for Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition cp003714.exe HP ProLiant System Management Controller Driver for Windows 2000/Server 2003 cp004504.exe AMD-8000 Chipset Support for Windows 2000/Server 2003 cp004823.exe Intel 6300ESB Chipset Support for Windows 2000/Windows Server 2003 cp003743.exe HP ProLiant 64-Bit/66-Mhz Dual Channel Wide Ultra3 SCSI Controller Driver for Windows Server 2003 cp005207.exe HP ProLiant 64-Bit/133-MHz Ultra320 Adapter for Windows Server 2003 cp003511.exe HP ProLiant Smart Array-2 Controllers Driver for Windows Server 2003 cp005277.exe HP ProLiant Smart Array SAS/SATA Controller Driver for Windows Server 2003 cp005183.exe HP ProLiant Smart Array 5x and 6x Controller Driver for Windows 2000/Server 2003 cp005184.exe HP ProLiant Smart Array Device Manager Extension for Windows 2000/Server 2003 cp005292.exe HP ProLiant Smart Array SAS/SATA Event Notification Service for Windows 2000/Server 2003 cp004770.exe HP StorageWorks Fibre Channel Support for Windows 2000/Server 2003 cp003484.exe HP ProLiant CMD 0649 IDE Ultra DMA Controller Driver for Windows 2000/Server 2003 cp003721.exe HP ProLiant Integrated Ultra ATA-100 Dual Channel Driver for Windows 2000/Server 2003 cp003733.exe HP ProLiant CSB-6 ATA-100 IDE RAID Driver for Windows 2000/Windows Server 2003 cp005186.exe HP ProLiant Storage System Driver for Windows 2000/Server 2003 cp004784.exe HP ProLiant Drive Array Notification for Windows 2000/Server 2003 cp005188.exe HP StorageWorks Fibre Channel Array Notification Driver for Windows 2000/Server 2003 cp003712.exe HP ProLiant Integrated ATA RAID Management Utility for Windows cp005370.exe HP ProLiant CSB-6 ATA-100 IDE RAID Management Utility for Windows 2000/Server 2003 cp005389.exe HP StorageWorks Fibre Channel Adapter Kit for Emulex SCSIPort Driver for Windows 2000/Server 2003 cp005268.exe HP StorageWorks Fibre Channel Adapter Kit for QLAxxxx SCSIPort Driver for Windows 2000/Server 2003 cp004690.exe HP ProLiant Remote Monitor Service for Windows cp004183.exe HP ProLiant PCI Hot Plug Controller Driver for Windows 2000/Server 2003 cp003512.exe HP ProLiant Hot Plug Memory Driver for Windows Server 2003 cp003490.exe HP ProLiant Remote Insight Board Driver for Windows 2000/Server 2003 cp004787.exe HP ProLiant Integrated Lights-Out Management Interface Driver for Windows 2000/Server 2003 cp004774.exe HP ProLiant Remote Insight Lights-Out II Board Driver for Windows 2000/Server 2003 cp004788.exe HP ProLiant Rack Infrastructure Interface Service for Windows 2000/Server 2003 cp004691.exe HP ProLiant Integrated Management Log Viewer for Windows cp005174.exe HP ProLiant Array Configuration Utility for Windows cp005175.exe HP ProLiant Array Diagnostics Utility for Windows cp005176.exe HP ProLiant Array Configuration Utility (CLI) for Windows cp005150.exe HP NC31xx Fast Ethernet NIC Driver for Windows Server 2003 cp005151.exe HP NC61xx/71xx/310x Gigabit Ethernet NIC Driver for Windows Server 2003 cp005118.exe HP NC10xx/67xx/77xx/150x/320x Gigabit Ethernet NIC Driver for Windows Server 2003 cp004553.exe HP NC370x Multifunction Gigabit Server Adapter Driver for Windows Server 2003 cp004476.exe HP Network Configuration Utility for Windows Server 2003 cp005254.exe HP Virus Throttle for Windows Server 2003 cp005177.exe Version Control Agent for Windows cp005194.exe HP Insight Management Agents for Windows 2000/Server 2003 cp005299.exe HP Lights-Out Online Configuration Utility for Windows 2000/Server 2003 cp005195.exe HP Insight Diagnostics Online Edition for Windows 4.
