SUPPORT PAQ INSTALLATION The primary method for installing the Support Paq is to run the SETUP.EXE program included with the Support Paq. By default, all software is selected for installation. In most circumstances, this default selection should not be altered, and installation is as simple as pressing the "Install" button. Even when selected, only software that is appropriate for the system it is being run on will actually be installed. Press the "Install" button to proceed with the installation. After installation of the appropriate software the utility will display any installation failures. For more information on the usage of SETUP.EXE, refer to the white paper or access the help system while running SETUP.EXE. A BP000095.CMD file is also provided with the Support Paq for use in installing the Support Paq from a command prompt without user interaction. As with the SETUP.EXE program, all software appropriate for the system it is being run on will be installed. The Compaq Support Paq for Microsoft Windows 2000 contains numerous files. All files must be present in the same directory as the SETUP.EXE program in order for the Support Paq to be installed properly. A console version of the setup application (SETUPC.EXE) is also provided as a way to script installations of the Support Paq or components. For more information on its usage, refer to the help available by running setupc.exe /?. 3. COMPONENT USAGE In addition to the SETUP.EXE program mentioned above, the Support Paq contains individual .EXE files corresponding to the various components that make up the Support Paq. If necessary, these components can be installed individually or their contents extracted to a floppy diskette for use during OS installation. To install an individual component just run the appropriate CPxxxxx.EXE file and chose the "Install" button. To extract the contents of a component to diskette run the appropriate CPxxxxx.EXE file, then chose the "Extract" button instead of the "Install" button. 3.1 COMPONENT CONFIGURATION Component files now offer optional support configuration before they are installed. The optional support configuration allows component-specific settings to be written into the .EXE file for availability during installation. Configuration is performed using the functionality provided by SETUP.EXE. When SETUP.EXE is launched, you will be able to all of the components that support or require configuration in the tree view of the main window. To configure a component, right-click on an item and select "Configure..." from the context-menu. For more information, consult the Compaq Support Paq (CSP) and Deployment Utilities User Guide. NOTE: Component Configuration requires that the Smart Components must be in a write-accessible location. A CD or read-only network share is not supported. If you have obtained this Support Paq on the Smart Start CD, copy the entire contents of the Support Paq directory to the local hard drive or a network share and make sure the read-only attributes have been cleared from all of the files. cp002154.exe Compaq iLO Advanced System Management Controller Driver for Windows 2000 cp002153.exe Compaq Advanced System Management Controller Driver for Windows 2000 cp002157.exe Compaq Integrated System Management Controller Driver for Windows 2000 cp002156.exe Compaq System Management Controller Driver for Windows 2000 cp002223.exe Compaq 32-Bit SCSI Controller Driver for Windows 2000 cp002261.exe Compaq 64-Bit/66-Mhz Dual Channel Wide Ultra3 SCSI Controller Driver for Windows 2000 cp002063.exe Compaq Drive Array Driver for Windows 2000 cp001611.exe Compaq Smart Array-2 Controllers Driver for Windows 2000 cp002076.exe Compaq Smart Array 5x Controller Driver For Windows 2000 cp002081.exe Compaq StorageWorks Fibre Channel Support for Windows 2000 cp002064.exe Compaq CMD 0649 IDE Ultra DMA Controller Driver For Windows 2000 cp002074.exe Compaq Integrated Ultra ATA-100 Dual Channel Driver For Windows 2000 cp002082.exe Compaq ProLiant Storage System Driver for Windows 2000 cp002275.exe Compaq Drive Array Notification for Windows 2000 cp002073.exe Compaq Integrated ATA RAID Management Utility for Windows cp001572.exe Compaq Array Redundancy Software for Windows 2000 cp002065.exe Compaq Remote Monitor Service for Windows 2000 cp002075.exe Compaq PCI Hot Plug Controller Driver for Windows 2000 cp002272.exe Compaq Remote Insight Board Driver for Windows 2000 cp002163.exe Compaq Integrated Lights-Out Management Interface Driver for Windows 2000 cp002164.exe Compaq Remote Insight Lights-Out II Board Driver for Windows 2000 cp000783.exe Compaq ATI RAGE IIC Video Controller Driver for Windows 2000 cp002168.exe Compaq Rack Infrastructure Interface Service for Windows 2000 cp001684.exe Compaq Legacy Port Configuration Component for Windows 2000 cp002066.exe Compaq Integrated Management Display Utility for Windows 2000 cp002155.exe Compaq Integrated Management Log Viewer for Windows 2000 cp002067.exe Compaq Power Supply Viewer for Windows 2000 cp002068.exe Compaq Power Down Manager for Windows 2000 cp002069.exe Compaq Enhanced Integrated Management Display Service for Windows 2000 cp002099.exe Compaq Array Configuration Utility for Windows 2000 cp002101.exe Compaq NetFlex/Netelligent Adapter Driver for Windows 2000 cp002227.exe Compaq Ethernet or Fast Ethernet NIC Driver for Windows 2000 cp002001.exe Compaq Gigabit Ethernet NIC Driver for Windows 2000 cp002013.exe Compaq NC67xx/NC77xx Gigabit Ethernet NIC Driver for Windows 2000 cp001842.exe Compaq Network Teaming and Configuration for Windows 2000 cp001890.exe Compaq Version Control Agent for Windows cp001897.exe Compaq Foundation Agents for Windows cp001898.exe Compaq Server Agents for Windows cp001899.exe Compaq Storage Agents for Windows cp001900.exe Compaq NIC Agents for Windows cp001892.exe Compaq Survey Utility for Windows 4.
