The server now can enter the hibernation (S4) mode in Windows even if a RAID 0 or RAID 1 is not created on the SATA hard drives.



INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

You need to create a driver diskette to install the SATA driver for Microsoft Windows 

2000 and Microsoft Windows Server 2003.

1. Insert one blank, formatted 3.5" diskette into the flexible diskette drive of a PC 

running Microsoft Windows.

2. Run the executable file and then click "Open" to proceed.

3. Click "Yes" to proceed if a confirmation screen appears.

4. Click "OK" to proceed.

5. Press any key to create the driver diskette for your operating system.

6. After the diskette is ready, press "N" to quit, or "Y" to create another diskette.

7. During the installation of the operating system on the server, insert the SATA driver 

diskette you just created when prompted to install the driver.
