DESCRIPTION:  This .ZIP file contains driver and support software for MSHD-U support for ProLiant ML150 servers running Unixware and Open Unix .
Enhancements:
Added the following:

* About the CPU temperature
     Add the system log function when the CPU temperature exceeds its 
     limitation. When the CPU temperature exceeds its limitation, the system will 
     automatically save the most recent results (including the time of event, CPU 
     ID, and CPU temperature) in the syslog file. To view the syslog file, type the 
     "chklog" command.
     Add the OS shutdown function when the CPU temperature exceeds its 
     limitation. When the CPU temperature exceeds its limitation, the system will automatically invoke the "shutdown" 
     command to shut down the OS. If the OS does not support the ACPI mode 
     (such as SCO Unixware 7.1.3, SCO Open Unix8), the OS will exit running, 
     but the machine will still power on, you must press power button to shut 
     down the whole system; if the OS supports the ACPI mode, the shut down 
     command will automatically power off the whole system. Please note that 
     improper OS shutdown may cause lost data.
* About the CPU fan
     Add the system log function when the CPU fan stops caused by unstable 
     results. The system will automatically save the most recent results (including 
     the time of event and CPU fan ID) in the syslog file. To view the syslog file, 
     type the "chklog" command.
     Add the beep alert function when the CPU fan stops caused by unstable 
     results. The system will beep for a few seconds.
     Add the email alert function when the CPU fan stops caused by unstable 
     results. The system will send an alert email to the administrator. The user 
     may have provided the email address of the administrator and SMTP server 
     address when he installed the package. The user can also add, delete and 
     modify the email address and SMTP address using the "install-mailadd" 
     command.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Insert the HP Startup CD-ROM in the CD-ROM drive of the HP ProLiant 
   ML150 server running SCO Open UNIX 8 or UnixWare 7.
2. Run the terminal program. When the window displays, follow the 
   instructions to install MSHD-U:
   a. Mount the CD-ROM.
      # mount /dev/cdrom/cdrom1 /mnt
   b. Follow the instructions to copy the source package of MSHD-U 2.0, 
     ¡§MSHD-U02.tar¡¨ to the /tmp directory of the Open UNIX 8 or UnixWare 7 system.
      # cp /mnt/Utility/Mshd-u/MSHD-U02.tar /tmp
   c. After copying the source package, please un-tar MSHD-U.
      # tar xvf /tmp/MSHD-U02.tar
   d. Please move to the directory of MSHD-U and install MSHD-U.
      # cd /tmp/MSHD-U
      # ./install
3. Shut down and reboot the server. 
   # shutdown ¡Vy ¡Vg0 ¡Vi6
   MSHD-U is ready to use.
