INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

The adaptec storage manager utility is a tool for the embedded SATA controller to manage 

the SATA hard drives.

To install the adaptec storage manager utility for Redhat Enterprise Linux 3 (AMD64/EM64T) 

and SuSE LINUX Enterprise Server 9 (AMD64/EM64T):

1. Extract the .tgz file and save the utility files to any directory, like /tmp, on the 

server.

2. Change to the directory path, like /tmp.

3. Type "rpm -Uvh --force StorMan*.rpm".

4. To start the utility, type "sh /usr/StorMan/StorMan.sh".
