[SunHELP] Another system, another boot issue

Appears we have a bad SCSI controller so moved the D130 to what we think is a
good one. Ran devfsadm and set an alias to the new device path. Now, instead
of "cannot locate boot device" we get "cannot open boot device". I guess we
are getting closer.

probe-scsi-all works with no errors
devalias looks good
Can boot from CD-ROM ok
The tape restore came from a mirrored system. I edited vfstab to use the
physical devices instead of /dev/md and edited /etc/system to remove any trace
of mirrors but am wondering if something is stuck in the kernel (did not run
metaroot).
Still stumped...

Hi

What does a printenv at the ok prompt list for boot-device and diag-switch?

If you are trying to boot standard it will try to boot the internal FCAL
disks, you will need to specify the external SCSI disk if you want to boot
that.
