[SunHELP] strange boot issue

Actually ran

devfsadm -t /tempmjc2/etc/devlink.tab -r /tempmjc2 -v

after mounting c1t1d0s0 (the new drive I am trying to boot from) to /tempmjc2
and it rebuilt the device tree so c1t1d0s6 looks exactly the same as on the
bootable c2t1d0

BUT

tried to boot c1t1d0s0 and still get "c1t1d0s6 no such device"

damn this is frustrating

Hi

Yes, you can mount the root on /a and there is a switch on devfsadm to update
the mounted root.

ie

See
