[SunHELP] strange boot issue

Thanks, Peter, I suspected something like that and that is why I tried boot
-r. But, how do I run devfsadm if it won't even boot from c1t1? Boot from CD
with a temp mount of /?

Hi Michael

I suspect you are falling foul of the relationship between the fibre drives
which have unique WWN number sand the standard cxdxtxsx. Unlike SCSI, each
drive is ref'd separately. From memory delete the /dev/dsk and rdsk ref to
the
drive you are having issues with and run devfsadm. There is probably a switch
to do this without having to do the delete the delete, just forget what it is
for now (see man page).......
