[SunHELP] New To Sun Hardware Need help with Sun Blade 1000 POST issue

Peter,

In fact it when I originally received it I managed to hook it up, power it
on and boot to bios (No hard drive). Then I decided to try and have the
system give me a post report so i entered the commands to set postdiag to
true and diaglevel to user select. Could that be a problem? I will look at
the cable I used to connect the Sun to my VT120 and compare it to what the
Manuel defines. I was told by the person who gave it to me that a null
modem cable would be sufficient and had been trying to use that. Other then
that the system has a single CPU in slot 0 and I am currently not getting
any beep codes.
