[SunHELP] loghost, levels to send for critical issues

I have a loghost setup and I am currently trying to descern what log 
levels to send to the loghost for the more critical issues like hardware 
problems.  I want everything going to their default log destinations so 
localhost accessibility is maintained and then have an additional entry 
in syslog.conf such as:
*.crit; kern.*; *.alert        @loghost

If anyone is doing something similar I would appreciate any feedback on 
your experiences.
