[SunHELP] Solaris 9 & qlogic drivers

Hi Steve,

1. I could see the hba's after probe-scsi-all
/pci at 8,600000/SUNW,qlc at 2
Fibre Channel link down

(But its my understanding that the device path should be: /QLGC, qla at 2)

2. There wont be any booting off the EMC storage.
3. Yes, I did a reconfig boot (reboot -- -r) each time I made changes.
4. I have checked the .conf file and attempted to run the drvutil:
/Qlogic_Corporation/drvutil/qla2300/qlareconfig -d qla2300
But the output complains that the driver is not in the etc/path_to_inst file
5. I have thoroughly following the Qlogic_solaris.pdf documentation.

1) can you see the hba's at the obp prompt by doing a
probe-scsi-all?
2) are you planning to boot off emc disk? -yes or no?
3) did you do a reconfiguration reboot to configure
the device tree in solaris?
4) did you check the qla22cc.conf for proper
configuration?
5) did you consult the EMC Installation &
Configuration guide for QLogic & Solaris?
