no, /dev/rdsk/xxx is the raw device, you do not need to mount the fs tu
ufsdump it.
Umounted is even better since noone will do any changes to the files.

If I am doing a ufsdump backup on raw devices such as "/dev/rdsk/c0t0d0s0",

it requird to hav the FS mounted before I can start the backup.
