If I were you I'd move some home directories into var and edit /etc/passwd
to correspond.
Installing bin's in /var/ is going to create a $PATH nightmare, and lets
face it. $PATH & $LD_LIBRAY_PATH is bad enough on Solaris already.
As for the language packs, I'd kick things off with a
Pkginfo | grep Lang
Or something like that to get the package name, then simply remove the
package in the normal way.

The root and usr partitions in my sparc server become full, only
i find /var is having free space.
Would i face any problem if i keep user
data and install files in /var partition ?
Also, how can i remove unnecessary
language documentation files, when get install with Operating system
installation?
