Hi,

If You turn the key clockwise it should prevent the machine from dropping to
the prom.

To turn it off altogether:

	set KEYBOARD_ABORT=disable in /etc/default/kbd
	run kbd -i


You can also change it on a temporary basis using:

	kbd -a enable|disable|alternate
