[SunHELP] Kernel Parameter

Hi All,

I've a issue here on my sun box. I've set the parameter in the below given 
manner. Please let me know whether this parameter setting is correct & 
also 
pls let me know how to check whether the parameter is set, from the 
command prompt. I've set this parameter for the Oracle 10G installation.


* Foil certain classes of bug exploits
set noexec_user_stack = 1

* Log attempted exploits
set noexec_user_stack_log = 1

#   echo "noexec_user_stack/W 0x1" | adb -wk /dev/ksyms /dev/mem 
 #  echo  "noexec_user_stack_log/W 0x1" | adb -wk /dev/ksyms /dev/mem
