[SunHELP] last command not working

I check inetd.conf. It is the same on all servers (working and non-working).

Does any other idea's?

No offense taken. I took it the way you meant it.

The clock is working. The last command displays the exact same date time
stamp every time its executed. No new login data is displayed.

Will check inetd.conf and truss a login next time I have access to the
system (It's a customer system).

Thank you all for the help. If anyone has other idea's please let me know.

It was me who had stupid question: does PROM batery operates and machine 
updates date/time? Maybe that should be checked 1st?
