[SunHELP] Re: sendmail (Paul R?ttgerding AOD)

You can stop sendmail process by
#ps -ef |grep sendmail
get the pid and kill the process.

To stop sendmail from starting at boot time, go to /etc/rc3.d and check for a
script like S65sendmail, rename it to s65sendmail.

To avoid "Mar 15 18:01:32 ISTASUN1 sendmail[8111]: My unqualified host name
(ISTASUN1)" type of messages, give FQDN of your host machine in /etc/hosts,
or
give an alias as mailhost infront of your hostname.
