Hello Vipul,
there is no file sendmail.conf on my machine.
And the Computername has an entry in the /etc/hosts at the first place after
the ip-adress.
Are there any system-services which use sendmail (maybe the cron ..)
I think that i dont need sendmail. But i dont know wether there are Problms
with other Systemservices when there is no sendmail. (sorry for my bad
english)

Hi paul,
Although iam a linux user but still would like to share a few thoughts with
u.
Stop the sendmail altogether .... the error message can be stopped by
editing the sendmail.conf file (ad putting ur hostname in the /etc/hosts
file)
Regards,
Vipul
