[SunHELP] Shell scripts not running

Yes, you're probably right, something is amiss in my profile.

Rene has just solved it for me, I have to put a shell explicitly on the
command line before the script filename. They must have changed something in
the .login files. Before, I just used to enter the script filename and it
would run, but not now. They changed the login procedure a few days before
the upgrade to Solaris 8, so that misled me.

Have you looked at your profile? You may not have your local directory
in your path any longer.
Try executing the script with "./scriptname" and see if it works.

stopped working. All I get is <script filename>: "Command not found".
Does anybody know the reason why and how to get my scripts working
