Hi Charu,
Havent anyone recommended you postfix? Its a _VERY_ nice sendmail
replacement, especially for Solaris (since its delivered with sendmail
by default, as we all know...). On the security side of the story, noone
beats postfix! And its config. file is way much better to setup than
sendmail...Of course there are a couple of gotchas when you got to be
running as smarthost/satellite but thats how it goes :)
Now on "make", I compile my FOSS programs using
/opt/SUNWspro/bin/cc and /usr/css/bin/make
set your PATH before!
If you're using gcc, dont forget the LD env.
