[SunHELP] C Compiler

Hi
 I am running solaris7 on sun ultra 5 SPARC. I belive Solaris comes with C
compiler in-built, pls correct me if i am wrong..When i searched for cc in
my box
# find / -name cc*
/usr/share/man/sman1b/cc.1b
/usr/ccs
/usr/ucb/cc

I need to install an application which would require a c ompiler...do i need
to install gnu c compiler or this shall work.
Do i need to set path in /profile?

Pls guide me for the same!!
