[SunHELP] Sparc 20 keeps on Panicing

I seem to have no problems running Solaris 9 with my SS20s... may not be
supported by Sun but it works and it works rather well.

also, you should check IF SS20 is supported in Solaris 8 (for 9 I am
sure that is NOT supported).

Try to boot from CD with an earlier version...
