[SunHELP] ifconfig plumb ce0 Bad file number??

Hii,

I need to help. I am getting this error when solaris sparc V240(Solaris8) 
boots up.

ifconfig: plumb: ce0: Bad file number
configuring IPv4 interfaces: hme0.
moving addresses from failed IPv4 interfaces: ce0 (couldn't move, no 
alternative interface).

What should I do? Why does this problem occur?
