Nitin,
Run mpstat 2 and note the amount of CPU time is being used on each processor.
It's likely that you have a single, single threaded process that is spinning
on a single CPU which shows up as 50% of the total CPU cycles available since
you have two CPUS.
Throw top away, it's garbage. You will get much better information from
vmstat, iostat, mpstat, prstat, lsof and netstat.

I have Solaris 2.8 with 2 CPU, One of the process is taking only 49 % of
the cpu it is not crossing this value.
Only one process is active , Let me know how to increase % cpu usage for
a process so that it can run fast.
