[SunHELP] trap command

Hello,
I have a T3 array attached to a SunFire and would like to receive a snmp
trap if one of the disks fails.
As I only want that trap (not interested in other traps) I was asking myself
if is possible to configure your own snmp trap (do not want to use the T3
itself for sending traps but the SunFire).
The idea is to check the /var/adm/messages for a disk failure and then send
a trap to the snmp management center.

I tried to find info about 'trap' command but didn4t find too much diferent
that the man explanation.
Maybe anybody did something similar before and could send me info or even
better an example?
