[SunHELP] How to root an SGI Irix6.4 or Irix6.5?

Hi,

how do I reset the root password of an SGI Octane running Irix6.4 or Irix6.5?
I have physical access to the machine, a cdrom drive and a IRIX6.4 cdrom 
with an inst file system.
Is there a similar procedure as for a SUN?
