[SunHELP] Patch (/dev/random) 112438-01 won't install

When trying to install the /dev/random patch on my sparc20 or ultra10
both running 5.7 I get the following message
Checking installed patches...
One or more patch packages included in
112438-01 are not installed on this system
Patchadd is terminating
#
this is after running
patchadd ./112438-01


What is wrong ??? am I doing something wrong ???
Any help would be appreciated
