Hi,
I have just reinstalled my sparc4 with solaris 2.6.
- i have edit the /etc/dfs/dfstab with
share -F nfs -o rw=rivendell /export/home/istari
- created a user with id 1000 (the same as the other machine) and home dir /export/home/istari
/etc/init.d/nfs.server start
- the client machine does:
mount -t nfs valinor:/export/home/istari /mnt/valinor/istari
error on the client
mount: valinor:/export/home/istari failed, reason given by server: Premission denied
i got this error on the console of valinor:
no default domain
- so i created: echo "arda.org" > /etc/defaultdomain
started /etc/init.d/nfs.server start
and got these errors
Jul 19 05:21:49 valinor mountd[454]: svc_tli_create: could not bind to requested address: No Error
